Data Integrity Analysis
This analysis concentrates on the following areas:
- Bill History: Examine the integrity of the linkages between billing history, open items, payments, and adjustments. Also, examine the accuracy of bill history information and orphaned rows.
- Accounts Receivable: Examine the integrity of the linkages between open items, adjustments, payments, and payment applications. Also examine orphaned rows.
- Charge Calculation: Examine the integrity of the linkages between service history, consumption history, and open items created by the charge calc process. Also examine any orphaned rows.
- Unprinted Transactions: Research open items, adjustments, and payments that were created prior to 2009 that have not billed.
- Uncharged Readings: Research meter readings that were created prior to 2009 that may not have been charged.
- Payment Balances: Examine the accuracy of unapplied balances for all payments.
- Open Item Balances: Examine the accuracy of balances for all open items.
The Report of findings will provide details of all records found and estimations of effort to clean up errors found.
Application Performance Analysis
- Analyze and Identify Batch Performance Enhancements: To provide a Banner CIS Analysis of how the Utility Provider
can increase the speed of batch processing and improve on their performance including the following:
- Analysis of current batch processes
- Provide recommendations on how to improve speed and performance
- Recovery Analysis:
- Examine the performance and reliability of the existing fail-over system.
- KamTech can then provide an estimate, as needed, for other appropriate recovery systems.
Ongoing Maintenance and Support Analysis:
To provide KamTech’s recommendations for the Utility Provider to ensure the performance of the Banner CIS platform over
the next 2 to 3 years and assess a recommended strategy for support and maintenance.
