Client: Orlando Utilities Commission

Problem: core issues in their Delinquency module that caused slowdowns in some of their business processes, unreliable data and lost revenue.

Short-term fixes had been implemented, but other vendors had failed to correct the core issues, so the temporary fixes remained. OUC wanted the core problems resolved.

KamTech Systems utilized its waterfall methodology to:

  • Conduct an assessment of the current delinquency/credit process, defining business practices and objectives.
  • Performed analysis to identify changes required to meet objectives.
  • Conducted functional/technical examination of previous changes made.
  • KamTech determined and submitted the best course of action based on technical complexity, cost, timeframe for modifications and overall impact.


All delinquency issues in the base code were addressed and corrected.

Additional base problems, unable to be previously identified due to interference from faulty base code and faulty modifications, were also identified and corrected.

The project was completed on time and within budget.
